GENERAL SAFETY

1. All riders must wear a safety-approved helmet while mounted. We provide up-to-date, kite-marked helmets checked regularly. If a rider brings their own helmet, it must meet current safety standards and is used at their own risk.
2. Children under 4 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. All riders must remain in sight of a responsible adult.
3. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Closed toe shoes or boots with a hard sole and small heel are ideal. No sandals, flip-flops, or open toe shoes are allowed.
4. Long trousers or leggings must be worn by children when riding. (Your child is welcome to dress up but leggings under dresses and skirts please.)
5. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the premises or at events.
6. We do not allow dogs or other animals to visit our property, please do NOT turn up with your dog/s. Dogs and other animals must also be kept away from the ponies at events unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.
7. All guests must follow instructions given by our staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
8. By booking this pony party you understand that we are working with animals and accidents can happen which is out of our control.
9. Whilst the ponies are very well behaved, we may ask for footballs, bouncy castle etc to
   stop whilst we are there.
10. Ponies must be located away from distractions such as trampolines, footballs, bouncy castles, motorised vehicles, and loud equipment.
11. Participation in equine activities is at your own risk. You understand that animals can behave unpredictably and that minor accidents (e.g., being stood on, bitten, kicked) are a known risk of animal contact.
12. The Tiny Pony Parlour is not liable for injury or damage resulting from non-compliance with safety advice or failure to supervise children.
13. We are not responsible for damage to clothing, property, or the environment. Any damages to our ponies, equipment, or staff property caused by guests will be billed to the booking customer.
14. By attending, you give permission for photographs or video to be taken and used for marketing purposes. If you do not consent, please notify us in writing prior to the event.

BOOKING, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

1. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received.
2. Bookings will be held for 5 working days pending deposit payment. After this period, your chosen date may be released.
3. The balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before your party or event.
4. For mobile events, customers must confirm ground type, access, and suitable parking for a trailer and towing vehicle. We reserve the right to cancel upon arrival if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, with no refund.
5. Milage for mobile events further than 10 miles is charges at £1 per mile for the total round trip (10 miles included).
6. Parties cannot be moved except for exceptional circumstances and at discretion of owner Camilla.
7. In the event that The Tiny Pony Parlour cancels for any reason, we will offer a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
8. No refunds can be made, if event is cancelled with advance notice, the payment can be carried over to the next event. All deposits are non-refundable.
9. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time. If more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund.
10. The ponies can attend parties and events at privately hired venues as long as we have landowners permission in writing which can be emailed to info@thetinyponyparlour.co.uk at time of booking. The ponies can’t attend parties and events on public land unless we can secure an area away from the general public.

RIDING LIMITATIONS

1. To ensure the welfare of our ponies, pony rides have a strict weight limit of 35kg and height limit of 1.4 metres.
2. We reserve the right to refuse pony rides if a child exceeds the physical limits for the safety and welfare of our ponies.
3. Only our trained staff are permitted to lead ponies. Parents may not lead ponies themselves however they can walk alongside.

HYGIENE & WELFARE

1. We provide hand sanitising gel, but recommend thorough handwashing with soap and water after pony contact.
2. Ponies may not be fed unless permitted by our handler.
3. The Tiny Pony Parlour cannot be held responsible for mud/damage to grass area. We do our best to avoid damage, but minor imprints on grass or mud patches may occur. We will remove any waste before leaving.

By paying a deposit or booking online, you agree to all terms outlined above. These terms apply to all bookings including:

• Pony Parties (venue & mobile)
• Pamper Sessions
• Individual Rides or Experiences
• School Events, Fairs, and Public Appearances

Tiny Pony Club Membership Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all Mini Pony Club and Tiny Pony Club monthly subscription memberships at The Tiny Pony Parlour. By signing up to a membership, you agree to the terms below.

1. Membership Options

We offer two monthly membership options:

Mini Pony Club
Ages 2–4
£35 per month
45-minute group session
Parent/carer must stay for the full session.

Tiny Pony Club
Ages 5–10
£45 per month
60-minute group session.

Each membership includes one monthly group Pony Parlour session, their very own Tiny Pony Club passport, a different pony care theme each month, priority booking for school holiday clubs and seasonal events, and 10% off selected birthday party bookings.

2. Monthly Subscription

Memberships are paid monthly by recurring subscription.

Your membership will renew automatically each month for a 12-month membership period unless cancelled in line with these terms.

Payment will be taken on the same date each month, or as close to this date as possible depending on your payment provider.

It is your responsibility to make sure your payment details are kept up to date.

3. 12-Month Membership Period

Memberships run on a rolling monthly payment basis for a 12-month period.

After the first 12 months, you may choose to continue, cancel or renew your membership.

We will contact you before the end of your 12-month membership period with your options.

4. Booking Your Monthly Session

Membership includes one group Pony Parlour session per calendar month.

Sessions must be booked in advance using the booking link provided.

Membership sessions run on set club dates and times. Places are subject to availability and are limited due to small group sizes.

Membership sessions cannot be exchanged for private sessions, birthday parties, holiday clubs or cash value.

5. Missed Sessions

Membership spaces are reserved for each child.

If you miss your booked session, the session is non-refundable.

Where possible, we will try to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed and will depend on availability.

Unused sessions do not roll over to future months unless The Tiny Pony Parlour has cancelled the session.

6. Cancellations by The Tiny Pony Parlour

We may need to cancel or rearrange a session due to weather, safety, pony welfare, illness, staff availability or circumstances outside our control.

If we cancel a session, we will offer an alternative date.

No refund will be given where an alternative membership session is provided.

7. Pony Welfare, Weather & Safety

All activities are subject to pony welfare, weather conditions and safety on the day.

Riding is not guaranteed at every session. Activities may include grooming, pony care, pony games, stable activities, pony pampering and lead-rein riding where suitable.

The Tiny Pony Parlour reserves the right to change the planned session activities at any time for safety, suitability or pony welfare reasons.

8. Riding Suitability

Any riding activity is subject to the child’s age, confidence, ability, behaviour, size, weight, weather conditions and pony suitability on the day.

Riding helmets must be worn for any riding activity. Helmets will be provided.

Children must follow all instructions given by The Tiny Pony Parlour staff.

9. Parent/Carer Responsibilities

For Mini Pony Club, a parent or carer must stay for the full session.

For Tiny Pony Club, parents/carers may be required to stay or remain nearby depending on the child, the session type and our safety requirements.

Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times before and after their session.

Parents/carers must provide accurate medical, allergy, additional needs and emergency contact information.

10. What to Wear

Children should wear long trousers or leggings, closed-toe shoes or boots, and suitable layers for the weather.

Open-toe shoes, sandals and crocs are not suitable around ponies.

Sessions may take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather.

11. Behaviour & Safety

Children must behave kindly and safely around the ponies, staff, other children and the yard environment.

We reserve the right to end a child’s session early if their behaviour puts themselves, others, staff or the ponies at risk.

No refund will be given if a session is ended early due to unsafe behaviour.

12. Discounts & Perks

Members receive 10% off selected birthday party bookings.

This discount cannot be used with any other offer, promotion or discount.

Discounts are subject to availability and may only apply to selected party packages, dates or bookings.

Priority booking gives members early access to selected school holiday clubs and seasonal events, but spaces are not guaranteed.

13. Cancelling Your Membership

You have the right to cancel your membership within 14 days of signing up, unless your child has already attended their first membership session during this period.

After this 14-day period, the membership will continue monthly for the 12-month membership period.

If you wish to cancel your membership before the end of the 12-month membership period, one month’s notice must be given before your next payment date.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email or message.

Membership payments already taken are non-refundable, and your child may continue to attend any membership session covered by their final paid month.

14. Failed Payments

If a monthly payment fails, we may contact you to update your payment details.

Membership benefits and booking access may be paused until payment is received.

If payment remains unpaid, we reserve the right to cancel the membership place.

15. Illness

Please do not attend if your child is unwell, has a contagious illness, sickness bug, high temperature or anything that could affect other children, staff or visitors.

Where possible, we will try to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed.

16. Photography

Photos may be taken during sessions for parents/carers or for The Tiny Pony Parlour marketing, depending on the permissions given on your consent form.

We will not use photos of your child for marketing without your permission.

17. Consent Forms

A completed consent form is required before your child attends their first membership session.

It is your responsibility to tell us about any changes to your child’s medical information, allergies, additional needs or emergency contact details.

18. Changes to Memberships

We may occasionally need to update membership dates, session times, activities, prices or terms.

We will give reasonable notice of any important changes.

19. Liability

The Tiny Pony Parlour takes all reasonable steps to keep children, families and ponies safe.

Horse and pony activities carry an inherent risk. By taking part, you accept that there are natural risks involved when working around animals.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
