Terms & Conditions

By booking a pony party, event, pamper session, or visit with The Tiny Pony Parlour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. These are designed to ensure a safe, magical, and smooth experience for everyone involved.

GENERAL SAFETY

  1. All riders must wear a safety-approved helmet while mounted. We provide up-to-date, kite-marked helmets checked regularly. If a rider brings their own helmet, it must meet current safety standards and is used at their own risk.
  2. Children under 4 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. All riders must remain in sight of a responsible adult.
  3. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Closed toe shoes or boots with a hard sole and small heel are ideal. No sandals, flip-flops, or open toe shoes are allowed.
  4. Long trousers or leggings must be worn by children when riding. (Your child is welcome to dress up but leggings under dresses and skirts please.)
  5. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the premises or at events.
  6. We do not allow dogs or other animals to visit our property, please do NOT turn up with your dog/s. Dogs and other animals must also be kept away from the ponies at events unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.
  7. All guests must follow instructions given by our staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
  8. By booking this pony party you understand that we are working with animals and accidents can happen which is out of our control.
  9. Whilst the ponies are very well behaved, we may ask for footballs, bouncy castle etc to
    stop whilst we are there.
  10. Ponies must be located away from distractions such as trampolines, footballs, bouncy castles, motorised vehicles, and loud equipment.
  11. Participation in equine activities is at your own risk. You understand that animals can behave unpredictably and that minor accidents (e.g., being stood on, bitten, kicked) are a known risk of animal contact.
  12. The Tiny Pony Parlour is not liable for injury or damage resulting from non-compliance with safety advice or failure to supervise children.
  13. We are not responsible for damage to clothing, property, or the environment. Any damages to our ponies, equipment, or staff property caused by guests will be billed to the booking customer.
  14. By attending, you give permission for photographs or video to be taken and used for marketing purposes. If you do not consent, please notify us in writing prior to the event.

BOOKING, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

  1. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received.
  2. Bookings will be held for 5 working days pending deposit payment. After this period, your chosen date may be released.
  3. The balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before your party or event.
  4. For mobile events, customers must confirm ground type, access, and suitable parking for a trailer and towing vehicle. We reserve the right to cancel upon arrival if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, with no refund.
  5. Milage for mobile events further than 10 miles is charges at £1 per mile for the total round trip (10 miles included).
  6. Parties cannot be moved except for exceptional circumstances and at discretion of owner Camilla.
  7. In the event that The Tiny Pony Parlour cancels for any reason, we will offer a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
  8. No refunds can be made, if event is cancelled with advance notice, the payment can be carried over to the next event. All deposits are non-refundable.
  9. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time. If more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund.
  10. The ponies can attend parties and events at privately hired venues as long as we have landowners permission in writing which can be emailed to info@thetinyponyparlour.co.uk at time of booking. The ponies can’t attend parties and events on public land unless we can secure an area away from the general public.

RIDING LIMITATIONS

  1. To ensure the welfare of our ponies, pony rides have a strict weight limit of 35kg and height limit of 1.4 metres.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse pony rides if a child exceeds the physical limits for the safety and welfare of our ponies.
  3. Only our trained staff are permitted to lead ponies. Parents may not lead ponies themselves however they can walk alongside.

HYGIENE & WELFARE

  1. We provide hand sanitising gel, but recommend thorough handwashing with soap and water after pony contact.
  2. Ponies may not be fed unless permitted by our handler.
  3. The Tiny Pony Parlour cannot be held responsible for mud/damage to grass area. We do our best to avoid damage, but minor imprints on grass or mud patches may occur. We will remove any waste before leaving.

By paying a deposit or booking online, you agree to all terms outlined above. These terms apply to all bookings including:

  • Pony Parties (venue & mobile)
  • Pamper Sessions
  • Individual Rides or Experiences
  • School Events, Fairs, and Public Appearances
